Cookie policy

1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a browser stores to remember information. localStorage and sessionStorage store information on your device using different technologies. Applicable rules on storing or accessing information on a device also cover those technologies.
2. Fliis session and preferences
fliis_account: a first-party session cookie for account authentication and form protection. It uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax without an application-defined persistent lifetime. Signing out deletes the cookie; browser session restoration may affect how long it remains.
fliis_theme: localStorage remembering your chosen light or dark mode until you change or remove it.
fliis_video_lang: localStorage remembering your requested video-language filter, separate from the interface language, until changed or removed.
fliis_pending_favorite: sessionStorage temporarily preserving the video you want to save while signing in; removed after saving or when the tab session ends, depending on browser behaviour.
Account sessions and requested preferences support their technical functions and are not used for behavioural advertising.
fliis_consent_v1: first-party localStorage remembering your choices by purpose (Analytics and YouTube), version and date for 180 days. Once expired, you are asked again. If storage is blocked, the choice applies only during the current visit.
3. Google Analytics 4
The main page uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-BGXLWYNLRN, only if you allow the analytics purpose. It may use _ga and _ga_BGXLWYNLRN to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. Their documented default lifetime is two years, adjustable by service and browser settings. They are not needed to use your account or allow YouTube. Rejecting Analytics prevents its tag from loading. Withdrawal disables measurement, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page.
4. Third-party videos and resources
The YouTube player and API load only after you allow the external-video purpose. Google/YouTube then receives technical data such as IP address and browser information and may use cookies depending on your session and preferences. Without permission, a placeholder lets you open the settings. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent you from allowing YouTube.
The design requests fonts and icons from Google Fonts and Tailwind resources from its CDN. These connections transmit technical data; a connection does not necessarily set cookies. Buy Me a Coffee and LinkedIn are external links. Fliis does not embed their payment forms or social widgets.
5. Consent and browser controls
On entry, you can accept all, reject optional technologies or configure them. Analytics and YouTube are separate purposes with no preselected optional choices. Accept and reject use the same styling. Closing the notice without choosing grants no permission.
You can change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings in the index footer. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop active scripts. Use PUSH TO MUSIC! on this policy page to return to that control. Fliis cannot delete third-party cookies on Google domains from its own domain; remove them through your browser privacy settings. Removing the session cookie signs you out and clearing local preferences resets them.
6. Further information
See the privacy policy for controller details and data protection rights. Contact music@fliis.com with questions about these technologies. Provider terms can change; this information will be reviewed when site integrations change.
